Occupational First Aid Certificate
Transportation Endorsement

Course outline:

This course is designed to prepare Occupational First Aid Attendants, Level 1, with the skills and knowledge needed to move and transport injured/ill workers to medical aid.

Prerequisites:

Student must hold a valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate

Length:

8 hours of classroom instruction

Content:
  • Patient handling and lifting techniques
  • Spine Board and Basket Stretcher Immobilization Techniques
  • Patient Assessment and Treatment during Transport
  • Transportation Vehicles
  • Aircraft Transportation
  • Applicable First Aid Regulations


Certification:

Candidates are evaluated by the course instructor. Successful completion of course objectives results in certification of the T.E. course and it is valid for two years from date of certification

Rates & Group Rates:
  • $175.00 per person
  • Group of 3-5: $125.00 per person
  • Group of 6-12: $95.00 per person
